Chevrolet Repair/Heater not working very well

Question
Hi,
The heater in my 97 Blazer does not work very well. When I
touch the hoses going to the heater core one is much warmer
then the other. I don't know if it's because poor
circulation or the core is clogged. Is there a test to
determine if the water pump is up to the job and what's a
good way to flush the heater core.

Thanks

Answer
Hi John.... you can buy some rad flush, put it in the rad and drive for a couple days then drain and refill or find a shop that has a flush machine... to check water pump open rad and run till hot..watch the water flow as thermostat opens...should flow across the rad quickly...if not a flush sure wouldn't hurt...hope this helps
