Chevrolet Repair/Rear Brake Lights Very Dim and Other

Question
I have a 1998 Chevy Venture 3.4 L engine with about 150K miles on it. My first symptom which goes off and on with no specified frequency is the ABS/Traction Control lights come on. Now they are off and the rear brake lights and all turn signals will vaguely dim. The dashboard indicator shows both turn signals, as if hazard lights, illuminated brightly and then get brighter when the brake pedal is depressed. The rear brake lights are very faint to the point that it is not visible. With the car off the hazards work very well in the front lights; not so in the rear. With the car either on or off when the turn signals are applied all of the rear lights pulse including the brake light on the top of the back van door. Thanks!!!!

Answer
Hi Donell...i suspect you have a ground problem somewhere in the light wiring...because the back lights are dim i would suspect that it is back there...check all your grounds including the ones under the hood...take off and clean... pay more attention to the ones from engine to the chassie...hope this helps
