I own a 2000 corvette coupe, there is a rattle/hum in what appears to be the driver side seatbelt retractor/counter-weight. How do remove the plastic trim pieces from the door area to get at the seatbelt retractor? Is there a special tool required?

Hi Kevin...the plastic should just pop off or there maybe a small cover to lift off to get to the fastners....if you are not sure best call you local dealer, they should be able to give you a picture of how it goes together...i cannot send pics over this link... hope this helps
