Question
have a 1987 chev 4x4 with 5.7 throttle body.  Have started it each month for a bit to keep it lubed.  Recently, I went to start it and it appears to not be getting gas.  Feed the carb from top and it runs (til the gas is gone).  Changed fuel filter, checked all the fuses.  will not get gas thru the fuel injectors or something?  Please help if you can.

Hi Vic... is the fuel pump in the tank comming on when u turn key to on...should run for 3 seconds...if not check for power at the pump plug at the tank...should light up with test light for 3 seconds...if it doesn't check the fuel pump relay..if it does light up tap the tank and see if pump comes on..if not the pump has gone bad...hope this helps...
