Question
I just replaced the head gasket on this truck. I re-installed everything the same as when I removed them.

The motor idles very badly.  I believe I need to adjust the valves but don't know how to do it.

What is the correct procedure to adjust the valves?

Answer
Hi Brent... i need to know which engine...2.2L 2.5L ... also, if you never disturbed the rockers you shouldn't have to adjust...if it's overhead cam, then it has no adjustment...check the firing order of the plug wires for a bad miss....hope this helps
