i went to start my car this morning and when i turned the key it sounded like it was gonna start like normal but wouldnt actually catch and a few times prior to today when i would start it it kind of skipped for a second then started...check engine light is not on and people are telling me its probably my filter or pump, any help would be appreciated

Hi Leon... do you hear the pump running when you turn the key on... it should run for 3 seconds....try cycling the key a couple of times before trying to start. if it starts ok then check filter for being plugged or the fuel pressure... if filter is good and pressure is low replace the pump....hope this helps
