Question
I have a 91 chevy conversion van. Starts fine but takes forever to get going. Once going it is still sluggish. Thought I had bad gas. Put in dry gas and ejector cleaner but did not help. Could filter be clogged? Check engine light comes on and off at various times while driving. Acts as if it can get limited gas.

Answer
Hi Joe... if in doubt change the fuel filter...also check fuel pressure...low pressure will cause that kind of problem. if pressure is low, try pinching off the vac line to pressure regulator it should rise. if not check the pressure regulator...if pressure still low replace pump...hope this helps
