Question
Dear Robert,
I hope you can help me!
I own a 97 Chevy Silverado.  It started stalling(on the Hwy. while driving; all of a sudden, nothing)
After I rolled it to safety, it restarted and then it stalled and restarted again 5 to 6 other times on the short ride home. I changed the fuel filter and the gas.  The battery is new and well-connected. I thought it would be fine.  It continued to stall, and yesterday I drove it 1km, parked it and turned it off. When I returned (5min.later)it wouldn't restart and hasn't since.
I had to tow it home. Today I tried to start it and it just turns over.
I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
Thanks,

Answer
Hi Dave... do you have spark... do you have fuel pressure. if no spark check cap, rotor ign module. if no fuel pressure check to see if pump running, if not check fuel pump relay if relay ok check pump...the fact that it stoped and stalled i would suspect pump, but that is just a good guess. hope this helps
