Question
Is it possible to replace the fuel pump in my 1989 Chevrolet S10 4.3L V6 with one from a 1993 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Silverado 4.3L V6?  Are they the same fuel pump or compatible or inter-changable?  I would hate to go through all the work of taking it out of the 93 just to find out that it won't work in the 89.  Thank you.

Hi Kat...I do not have axcess to an interchange book but if they put up the same pressure and have the same connections then it should work...i don't reccommed useing a used pump simply because it's a lot of work to change and hate to do over in maybe a short time frame...a new aftermarket pump should run around a hundred dollars and has a warranty... hope this helps
