Question
my daughters 1995 2.2 4 cyl was running on 3 cyl. when I removed the plugs the rear plug is totally oil soaked. can you tell me the cause and will replacing the plug solve it? thank you

Answer
Hi Jerry... the oil soaked plug could have a couple of problems... maybe the plug went down and is not firing, could be bad wire or cap/rotor as well... try putting new plug in the wire and lay it against a ground. turn engine over and watch for spark... it should have a good snap sound to it... if you have good spark and it keeps fouling plug you need to look at either a valve seal or ring problem in that cyl....hope this helps
