Question
I have a 95 chevy blazer 4.3, automatic,4door, My wipers quit working , and one of my interior dome lights will not go out i had to pull the bulb, my other 2 interior lights are extremely dim lack of power I had just put this wiper motor on so it is good , I also replaced the wiper switch with no sucess, I am getting around 11 volts from wiper plug in, but it acts like its not enough to move it, I checked the fuse box for blown fuses or burnt wires I have had the whole dash apart searching wires but can not find anything. Also when I turn wipers on hi it will shut my radio off and wont come back on until I shut wipers off. Id appreciate any help ive spent 2 days freezing to try to find the problem thanks kevin

Answer
Hi Kevin...  check your ground to the wiper motor.... they are mounted by being isolated and have a flat steel that goes from the wiper motor to the bolt that holds it to the firewall...make sure that you have a good ground there....try running a wire direct from battery ground to the wiper housing as a ground. also check the ground in the plug connection for the wiper motor...hope this helps
