I am not sure what my problem is?  Recently about two weeks ago, i noticed that my acceleration was horrible, and that the car struggled to get past 10 mph.  Than shortly after, the engine temperature would jusp past the red line in less than 1/4 of a mile.  I changed the trans fluid hoping that may solve the acceleration problem, but nothing.  Any advice??

Hi Josh.... well could be a couple of problems, check for plugged cat converter, make sure engine has coolent and check thermostat/waterpump. check for short in wiring to temp gauge.check temp sending unit. if you have scan tool check for codes and correct if any. hope this helps
