Chevrolet Repair/no spark

Question
I have a 1993 s10 tbi 4.3 v6.  I have been getting no spark at all.  First time it happened about two weeks ago I played around with it and thought it to be the coil wire.  I played with the wire as my wife tried to start it, and it fired right up so I replaced the coil wire and it ran great for about a week.  Then it did it again, and sure enough if I wiggled the coil wire around on top of the distributor cap it fired right up.  So next I replaced the cap and the thing ran great for about a week.  Now it is doing it again, and just like before if I wiggle the wire around on top of the distributor cap it fires right up.  I have also replaced all wires and the rotor button,  I don't know what else to do please help.  Thank you Brad

Answer
Hi Brad... Sounds like wires are not keeping contact with the cap... were the ones you put on of good quality...some of the less expencive stuff doesn't have a good fit...make sure that wires are pushed all the way into cap and you could try coating them with a good dielectric silcone. hope this helps
