Chevrolet Repair/1991 "umina APV Front end creeking

Question
Hi, I have a 1991 chevy Lumina APV van. When turning right or left, the front end seems to make a creeking/groaning rubber type sound.  We replaced the ball joints and tie rod ends. I have a couple of other GM vehicles that make the same sound when turning. Any idea what this could be? It isn't a metal clicking sound.
Thanks for your help!
Rick

Answer
Hi Rick... take a look at your upper strut mount bearings...if they are binding they can make that noise.... hope this helps

Hi Rick... you can replace just the upper mounts and bearings... you will require a strut pring compressor to do the job....hope this helps
