Question
Recently the engine began to squeal a high pitch whine, took off serpentine belt,
ran engine and squeal seems to be coming from throttle body area.  washed the
engine and the sound stopped for about 15 min then returned.  When I
accelerate it seems to stop but when I back off the gas pedal it returns.

Hi Alan.... check for cracked or broken vacum lines, vacum leaks around the throttle body and the shaft that goes thru the butterfly...the air intake hose...the intake itself....use a good air inatke cleaner to trace it down...spray it in small areas and work your way around the throttle body till you find it....hope this helps
