Speedometer bouncing up & down,sometimes would quit working completly. Now rpm gauge is not working & light for transmission gear is out with check engine gauges on. sometimes when i restart it runs fine with lights on but, when they turn off & check gauges light comes on the tranmission seems to not shift its hard to go from a complete stop & move.

Hi Randy.... check the speed sensor in the trans...install a scan tool and drive the truck, watch the speed on the scan tool.if it is changing quickly (not steady) or all over the place then sensor is bad...see what other codes may be present with the scan tool and fix whatever codes may come up....hope this helps
