2003 Silverado Replacement of the Turn Signal / Windshield Wiper Control / Cruise Control Control Arm Replacement. Do I need to take any percautions to rplace this item/ looking at the item it seems to be 1 electrial plug and maybe mechanical linkage? The delay on my winshield wipers is intermitent so knowing no better I have decided to repalce the arm.

Hi Rick....to replace the arm you just unplug the connection and push in on the arm and turn i beleve counterclockwise.chances are that the arm is ok,,,check the wiper switch...for power on each wire as you cycle thru hi,med and low...delay will be on the low wire in the plug...if power is ok on all the wires then switch is ok...check the wiper motor....hope this helps
