Question
as of the last 4 or 5 months my car will not switch gears when it gets to about
30 mph. i can get it to shift switching to neutral and reving the engine, and
then switching back to drive. b4 this problem happned i noticed that the abs
light was always on and sticking. i thought the tranny was sticking. also my
check engine light is on now. also it dies when its in neutral now. idk its
f***ed up can u help me?

Hi Max.... install a scan tool and read codes... repair any problems that it may have...on the trans check the TV cable adjustment.there is a cable that comes from the trans to the throttle linkadge, it has a button on it near the throttle... with car in park and engine off push button in and open the throttle all the way.. that should adjust cable....if that doesn't help check to see if fluid in trans has a burnt smell to it...if it does you may have a problem inside the trans...have it checked out at a good trans shop.... hope this helps
