My car does not put out heat. I changed thermostat which helped for a while. My chevy parts department say's they is a part called a restrictor kit Part # DE-148  from Duratec Enterprizes but no company exists. Have you heard of this.

Hi Jesse.... those engines are really hard to bleed out the air after you change stat....make sure that you have all the air out before changing anything else....also check that water pump is ok and install pressure gauge on the rad and make sure you don't have a head gasket leaking compression into the cooling system, that would cause the water to not circulate....hope this helps
