Question
I would like to remove the oil pan on a 1997 Chevy Venture with a 3.4 L engine.  Will I have enough room to lower the pan with the engine in the vehicle?  The R/H side looks awfully tight.  What is the recommended procedure?
Thank you,

Bruce

Answer
Hi Bruce....You may have to lower the frame assembly....i have managed to get them out if you undo the bolts holding the front frame. it is tight... drop right side farther than left. you may have to drop right side lower ball joint to get it down far enough...hope this helps
