Question
How do you get access to the right rear of a 2004 Tahoe?
(side of gas tank)I tried coming from behind, but there is
another layer that separates the two. I have already
removed the rubber guard which is where the dent is, but
can't seem to get behind it to hammer it out.  There must
be a way, before I start taking everything apart.

Hi Mike.... both layers are spot welded together.... the best way to get that dent out would be with a spot puller... or you my try a body suction cup...as long as there is no crease in the dent... if there is a dent puller is your best option...hope this helps
