Question
i have a 235 engine on a1952 chevy when i drive it at 70mph for 10 min. or so it begines to get aknocking sound if i drive around the city 20 or 30 mph im ok please help thanks

Answer
Hi Nick.... do you have oil pressure and temp gauge... if you do are they electric or manual... you need to know if the knock is because of low oil pressure or overheating... if low oil pressure look at changing the oil your using... go to an oil that has a higher vescosity when hot. if overheating look at the thermostat or water pump...make sure your coolent is circulating....intstalling a manual gauge if you don't have them will give you a more accurate reading...hope this helps
