Chevrolet Repair/98 tahoe

Question
I too have a 98 tahoe won`t start problem....it goes like this,my wife drove about a mile to work with no dash lights and then called me to tell me about it and I said she probably didn`t have any taillights either ,I picked up some fuses and finally found the blown fuse although I did remove various fuses because I`m old and can`t hardly see any more ,especially where they put the fuse panel...what was wrong with the old glass tube fuses anyway, you could tell which one was blown with no problem...bot I digress....any way it would not start after that and yes I was under the hood and messed around in that fuse area also ...pulled a junk boat lately that might have something to do with blown fuse .....any ideas  thanks in advance ed golden

Answer
Hi Ed... could be just a matter of a poor connection on one of those fuses you removed...try removing them again and cleaning the spade ends with some steel wool, you can clean the panel connections with a good spray contact cleaner...i am sure thats where you will find your problem... hope this helps
