Question
i removed the 12 bolt on the oil pan of my 96 blazer 4.3 lt 2 wd and the pan still will not come off what is wrong and how do i get it of?
Answer
the oil pan is also bolted to the transmission on this however you cannot get this oil pan off without removing the motor mount bolts and jacking the engine up. The oil pump pickup and oil pump make it almost impossible to remove the oil pan with the engine in the vehicle.See attached pic
