Question
I have 1991 Chevy Truck 1500 4.3 Engine I have a milky color on the tip of my dip stick and at the very top of my dipstick BUT right above  the tip to the full mark on the stick the oil looks fine,I unscrewed the oil cap and and no milky color on the cap The gauge did show hot but that was a faulty temp sencoir as the gauge showed hot when the motor was cold in the AM .I have no oil in the rad.I was told it was a condisation problem to head gasket to intake gasket so I dont know what it is .

Answer
Hi Bruce.... put pressure gauge on the rad and see if it builds pressure fast...if not install vacum gauge and see if vacum bounces on the gauge...it should read steady....if it bounces you could have intake or head gasket just starting to leak...hope this helps
