Question hit a rut in field now when driving it hits about 45 and i have to gun it to go i don't know if its not shifting or what changed the filter and fluid.what else can i do before taking to shop
Answer Hi Dwight... you may have knocked the shift cable out of adjustment...there is a cable that runs from the trans to the linkadge on the throttle body, on that cable there is a button... with truck in park , engine off , push button and then open throttle all the way...do this a couple of times to make sure it adjusted..try driving the truck..if ok thats what it was if not you may have to have it looked at by trans shop....hope this helps
