Question
we had our trail blazer worked on and it is making a weird noise when we accelorate. the engine temp stays on 210. the fan blade may have been put one backwards. the fan rotates and pulls air toward the engine. shouldn't it push the air back thru the radiator?

Answer
Hi Frank... no the air is to be pulled thru the rad and shroud toward the engine. if it pushed air toward the rad when you were driving you would have static air flow, in otherwords no air flow as the air coming toward the car would be stagnated by the air going back from the push of the fan. 210 is too high so check that something isn't blocking air flow. or do you have a coolent problem...is the fan belt routed properly so water pump is turning in the right direction...what is the noise you are hearing?. what work did you have done?, have it checked to see if it's done right... hope this helps
