Question
The cigarette lighter stopped working all of a sudden, as well as the radio. Replacing the 25 amp fuse did not help; replaced many fuses at the fuse block, still did not work. Installed a new radio. It works fine, but no cig lighter. Bought a new lighter from China, it blew 25 amp fuses. Bought a lighter made in USA, it still blows fuses. Tested the lighter off the car with a 12 volt battery, in line 25 amp fuse;still blows the fuse when lighter is pushed in. HELP!!! I'm out of answers.

Answer
Hi Pete... well i would say that the lighter is no good if you tested it off the truck. try getting another or maybe a used one from wrecking yard that you can try before you take out... also i believe that cig lighter needs a 30 amp fuse....hope this helps
