Question
I have a Malibu classic 2005 and have been having some problems with it. I just replaced the battery and did a tune up. The car was running fine then today when I tried to start it it wont stay running could it be the spark plugs are not getting a good connection?

Answer
Hi Diane, i wouldn't rule that out but is not likley, check for spark at the plugs, and check more than one, if you have good spark then check for fuel, can you hear fuel pump come on when you turn the key to on....you should hear the pump come on then shut off after 3 sec. if you hear the pump check to see if you have  fuel a the fuel rail. if you do you will need to check fuel pressure. is pressure with in the range it is supposed to be. if you have spark and fuel it should run, only thing left would be that you flooded it... hold your foot all the way to the floor and then try to start, if it still won't go maybe pull the plugs and dry them off, reinstall and try again...if you did a tune up check to see that you didn't disturb any connections while you were doing the tune up. hope this helps...
