Question
ok my 97 cavelier is over heating and it was leakin anti freeze from somewhere but i couldnt tell where... ive replace the water pump and the thermostat...and checked the resivour to see if it was cracked but its not... and after doing all that the tempeture gage is showing its still overheating but its not leaking anymore and its not using anti freeze.. im starting to run out of options

Answer
Did you open the bleeder screw on the heater hose pipe to get all the air out? If you didn't, you need to. It overheats because there is air in the system. On the heater hose pipe there is a 5/16" brass screw that you need to loosen and let all the sir flow until it only has fluid coming out. Then carefully close it. These are known to break if tightened to hard.
