Question
I have a 89 chevy 305 1500 pickup, starts but idles up and down, also hesitates and has no power. replaced fuel filter and rebuilt tbi. runs a little better but still have the problem. had ignition modual checked and was told it was good. any help would be great.
Mine had the same problem. I have a 92. The butterflies on the throttle body get worn and start to have grooves wear into the rod. A lot of times, bushings will fix this, but sometimes, new tbi unit. Gmpartsgiant.com sells them for cheaper than anywhere I have found. check fuel filter and fuel pump also.
