i just swapped my transmission in my 2000 chevy silverado 4.8 litre z-71 extended cab truck when i got it all back together it would not start the starter is engaging but im not getting fire at the plugs

Hi Shawn,

This could be a toughie, not being there!

My first question is, does this vehicle have the crank sensor that is mounted in the lower front of the timing cover? And if so, did it get disturbed during the removal/installation?
This sensor signals the coil(s) to fire.

Check and make sure it is plugged in, then get back to me, okay?
