Chevrolet Repair/sensor

Question
I`ve got a 1995 monte carlo that the low coolant light comes on but everything is ok. Can you tell me where the sensor is located? Thanks

Answer
Low coolant sensors on GM vehicles have been notorious for malfunctions for quite a few years.
I don't have an EXACT location on this vehicle, but I'm sure it will most likely be in the radiator side tank on the passenger side of the engine compartment. They are installed with a clip into the water jacket of the radiator tank.
Be careful: make sure the engine is COMPLETELY COOL before attempting to remove it, as coolant will immediately run out.
