Question
A couple times last week my car died when I put it in reverse. Today I put it in reverse and it make a couple of jerks with a couple thuds, but didn't die. Any idea to what I need?

Answer
LESLIE IT IS REALLY HARD TO PIN POINT YOUR PROBLEM WITH SUCH LITTLE INFORMATION.I HAVE SEEN CERTAIN GM VEHICLES THAT STALL WHEN YOU COME TO A STOP AND THEY START JERKING LIKE YOU SAID.TELL YOU WHAT TO TRY,IF YOUR CAR HAS AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TAKE IT TO A SHOP AND ASK THEM TO UNPLUG THE TCC SWITCH ON THE SIDE OF THE TRANSMISSION AND THEN DRIVE THE CAR FOR A FEW DAYS TO SEE IF THAT SOLVES THE PROBLEM AND IF IT DOES HAVE THE SWITCH REPLACED.
