Question
about 2 years ago i was driving and i went over a bump and the 2nd end of the driveshaft  fell it disconnected from the rear axle. after i got it repaired it would make a noise everytime a drive over a crack or a slight bump it makes a ding noise and it rattles all the time. my guess is that somthing is loose idont know but i want to know what the problem is and how to repair it.
thank you for your time.

Answer
Hi Alberto... could be a bad u joint, although after 2 years it would be a worse noise by now...i suspect that you have something unrelated hitting. try shaking exhaust, maybe loose heat shield, have someone bounce the truck while you are under it, maybe loose shock, spare tire carrier, exhaust hitting on rear end or frame...hope this helps...merry christmas
