when my car heats up it studders and then dies until it cools off. the code shows p0401 egr insufficient flow- i have replaced the egr valve which has had no effect. i dont think it has a dpfe. any ideas on what could be causing this. maybe the catalytic or ecm? i am in dire straits to get this car running. any and all help is greatly appreciated

Hello Randy, Help me please... What engine does this car have??? What is a dpfe? If it is a V6, the passage going to the EGR valve is plugged at the intake runner. You can clean this with a coat hanger through the throttle plate.
