Question
Well i have a 5.3 liter 99 silverado. When i go to turn my truck on and the key turns but nothing happens. FP runs and electricty comes on but doesnt crank or try to turn. checked wires going to starter and they were dead as were the wires to the ignition switch. help me pleas im stumped

Answer
Hi Cory... did you try moving the shifter to make sure truck is in park...or try it in neturel. if it still doesn't start you need to see if you have power going to the neturel safty switch from the ign switch.also check that battery connection are good and that you have power at the starter from the + batter cable. check the main fuseble link as well. also see if it has a ign fuse in the fuse block. these are good places to start looking...hope this helps
