Question
My son is trying to change a water pumb on a 1995 Chevy Caprice police model. It is a 5.7 liter engine. He has gotten the 4 main bolts off and can not find any more bolts however the water pumb is not moving. Is there something he is missing? I appreciate any suggestions you might have.
Thanks!
Laura

Answer
Hi Laura... make sure that there is nothing else bolted to it... if all bolts are out and no brackets attached to it tell him to give it a tap. look at new pump. have you removed the same amount of bolts that the new pump would have. sometimes they get stuck to the block... if all bolts are out a good tap with a hammer should dislodge it... hope this helps
