Question
Mark,
I own a  1999 Chev Venture (extended). Currently my dash lights (radio included) will not light up at night. ALso when you enter the van the dome lights do not come on as they should. The radio lights/display is on in the day however when you turn on the headlights or when evening comes and the head/tail lights automatically come on the radio display goes out completely.  What could the problem be?  Thanks for your help in advance.

Answer
Hi Derek, The first thing to check is the dimmer for the dash lights, make sure it is in the bright position. If it is then you to check the fuse for the park lights. You could also look to make sure you have parking lights, if you do replace the headlight switch.

Hope this helps

Mark
