Question
I have a 1999 Chevy Cavalier. A light on the dash comes on and off: "ETS off". Do you know what this is pertaining to? When the light is on the transmission shifts hard.

Hi Denise, This would indicate that there is a problem in the ABS or PCM. That would be anti-lock brakes or engine computer. You need to have the systems checked with a scan tool to see if there are any codes.
