Question
Looking for info on heater core for above car. Book I have is useless, too generic..they all are. Anyhow have you ever replaced core on this model, does dash really need to be off? where are bolts etc?. Also says to remove radio, and center console, disable airbag which I have done. Looks like gas pedal also needs to come off. Any ideas, can not afford to pay anyone, besides when i called no one in this area is interested, and i think  I know why!!!. Thanks in advance

Answer
Hi Ed... i am afraid i have never done one for the same reason.they are a nightmare, just do it the same way as i would thats to look over what you need to remove, take a digital picture so you can put it back together the same way. even the GM service manual does not explain very good on how to get at the core so it's just trial and error..i don't do them because no one wants to pay the labour it takes to change the core...sorry i can't be of much help here....Merry Christmas
