About Van
Expertise
I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some medium duty trucks. Some military light trucks. I can answer most questions concerning 4X4 engine, drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel, both diesel and gasoline. Ford, GM, and Dodge, old and new, but prefferably not newer than 99.

Question
how many lifters are on a 1993 buick lesabre

Answer
Hello Charmeal,
You didn't say what engine you have. I would guess a 3100, or 3.1L.
So you probably have 12 valves if it has a V6 engine.
A V8 would normally have 16.
A four cylinder would normally have 8.

The normal engine for a 93 Buick has one intake valve, and one exhaust valve per cylinder.

Now, if you happen to have some special order engine with dual overhead cams and 24 or 32 valves, I would really be surprised.
