Ok where i work this 95 chevy truck has way too much clutch pedal free play.  the clutch does disengage right before the pedal hits the floor but not enough to keep the gears from grinding when you try to shift.  The people i work with think it is a worn clutch disc, but would a worn clutch disc really cause that much free play?  I was think possibly the fork could be bent backwards or the pressure plate is missing some teeth.  I checked the clutch fluid and it is full.  Or maybe there is broken or worn out bushing within the clutch pedal linkage or it is out of adjustment.  i don't know.  i don't remember the model

There IS NO adjustment.
The fork could be bent, but I would suspect the pivot ball and socket being worn out more.
You mentioned the clutch pedal, and you can get up under the dash and see if there is a bunch of travel before the rod contacts the master cylinder.
The master or slave cylinder could be bad, but any other problem will require removal of the tranny and clutch.

But be sure to check that pivot ball. Some trucks have a grease fitting so you can lube it occasionally. Located on the passengers side of the bell housing.
