Question
94 3500 diesel engine won't start after leaving it for 6 months.  Is there an electrical shutoff switch which might account for no fuel at the injectors even when 5 are cracked open.  Have clean fuel at the filter top in the valley, have compression.

Answer
Hello Hoyt,
The injector pump fuel cutoff solenoid is what comes to my mind.
I would probably unhook the glow plug system, and start it on starting fluid, to see if it works loose.
I assume the fuel transfer pump is pumping fuel out of the filter bleeder?

I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some medium duty trucks. Some military light trucks. I can answer most questions concerning 4X4 engine, drive line, suspension, electrical, and fuel, both diesel and gasoline. Ford, GM, and Dodge, old and new, but prefferably not newer than 99.
