| Comment | You were dead right; it's actually a 4 wire oval shaped connection that is on the top of the heater assembly behind the glove box. I'd seen that but thought it was a temp sensor or something. I'd gone to the dealer and bought that resistor module thing ($21), but after taking the old one out it looked fine (none of the elements were broken) but after replacement, voila, everything fixed. I have been maintaining a fleet of approximately 55 light, medium and heavy vehicles for over 20 years. Most are 4X4 pickups and off road fire fighting trucks. Some medium duty trucks.
