Question
I have a 1991 Chevy Silverado. It had a 4.3 ltr. V6 in it untill i blew it up. I bought a 5.6 ltr V8 out of a 89 chevrolet Caprice thinking it could fit. I know ill need new exaust manafolds and disributor cap and rottary button but is that all? someone told me everything would have to be switched out... Im at a lose as tyo if my new engine will bolt up semi perfectly to where my old one was...

Answer
Hi Matthew. the engine will bolt in, but you will need everything from the new motor to make it go, including the computer from the car the motor came out of. as well as the sensors. the quickest change without all those problems would be to put another 4.3L V6 back in... hope this helps
