Question
was rearended yesterday in 97 astro van..drove 60 miles home.no problems. rear bumper damaged..next day wouldnt start.as in not getting fuel.switched a/c and fuel pump relays in fuse box under hood...checked fuses ecm1 and ecm b..seemingly no difference. please advise.did fuel pump just go bad or am i looking in wrong spot for relay?

Answer
Hi Jim, I think the pump went bad. Try this...while someone is cranking the engine you hit the bottom of the fuel tank with a large hammer. Be sure they don't stop cranking while you are hitting the tank. The engine will start 90 percent of the time if the pump is bad.

Hope this helps
