hwo to replace the ignition switch i a pick up 1996 c1500

Hi Rodrigo.... do u mean the switch or the lock cyl and key... switch is under dash on the top of the steering coloum. remove the wiring plug then the two bolts that hold it down and lift off the ign rod. intallation is the reverse...if the lock cyl, you need to remove the steering wheel lock plat clip, lock plate and signal switch. remove the bolt that holds the lock cyl in place remove the lock cyl...hope this helps....merry christmas
