Chevrolet Repair/transmission question

Question
I have a 2003 Malibu. I've been told the transmission needs to be flushed out and the filters need to be replaced.
Can you tell me how to flush the transmission myself and how to change the fuel filter?

Answer
Hi Larry, You need a special machine to flush the fluid on the trans. You can just drop the pan and replace the filter and fluid. To fill this transmission there is a plug at the right axle you need to remove. With the engine running and warmed up, the fluid should come out as you pour it in the trans fill hole. When this happens it is full. The fuel filter is in the rear behind the fuel tank. Just has a fitting on one side and a quick release on the other. You will be getting gas on yourself!
