How do adjust the valves on 305 chevy 1982 model and get them close enough to crank it .
Hi robert.... dry set them all to .025 when valve closed... start engine and one at a time lossen till they clack tighten till it stops clacking then turn slowly about half a turn... i usually take an old rocker cover and cut the center out so i can get at rocker bolts and contain oil splash..hope this helps...happy new year
